Educational Diversity wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible Attendance and Engagement officer to provide consistent support to our students and other young people across Blackpool.

We are a split site provision, catering for students between the ages of 6 and 16, with emotional, behavioural, social and/or medical needs.  The successful candidate will become part of a strong and forward thinking team, who will work alongside key school staff to promote excellent attendance and punctuality, reduce levels of absence and lateness, work with children and families to promote high levels of attendance and provide pastoral support to a wide range of students within the school.

It is essential that the candidates have had experience in working with young people with emotional, behavioural, social and/or medical needs and that they can form and maintain positive relationships with disengaged young people in a variety of settings.

Salary: NJC Grade E SCP 12 - 17 £27,711 - £30,060 pro rata per annum

This is a full time role working 37hrs per week, working term time + 5 days for INSET days .
