The Careers Lead holds termly meetings with the Enterprise Coordinator to discuss the careers programme allowing for support to be offered in the delivery of upcoming events. At these meetings the Compass tool is completed. This allows the school to evaluate our careers activity against the eight Gatsby Benchmarks of good careers practice. The aim is to achieve 100% delivery across all eight Benchmarks.
Individual careers events are evaluated for effectiveness and to inform the future offer on the careers programme. This is done by collating the attendance names/numbers, engagement levels and knowledge/understanding gained from different categories for attendees (students, parents/carers, providers, employers/employees).
Based on findings the careers programme is reviewed annually in line with the School Improvement Plan.
